How much money do you have to make or have to be consider Middle Class

Is 40,000 to 60,000 a year considered middle class?

It depends on where you live. In the US 40-60 would be middle class, in other countries it would be above middle class. Some countries it would be considered being wealthy.

This question really can't be answered. In somw parts of the US, 40 - 60 thousand would be considered a very good living. But in other parts, this same amount would barely be enough to just get by.

That is not a middle class, I think it's more like the first class or something like that. I'm think making less than 30,000 a year is considered middle class.
