I guess your a real pasta lover for you to eat pasta three times a week. We do cook pasta maybe once or twice a week. Here in the Philippines, we Filipinos eat rice instead of potatoes.

I'm English, and I love pasta, all kinds, spaghetti, lasagne, tagliatelli, you name it; I particularly like cold ready made pasta snacks from my local supermarkets.

I also like to eat lasagna with much cheese in it. I like the taste of the cheese in between the fillings.

So does it mean that spaghetti is bad for acidic people? Is this really true that spaghetti affects acid reflex?

Yes, I do agree that we Filipinos love to eat spaghetti and pasta. Our fast food chains here always have spaghetti in the menu, so I guess that shows that we do love to eat them. We have a number of Italian restaurants here in the Philippines. Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!

It is very true that Filipinos love to eat pasta and spaghetti. In fact, the Filipino style of cooking spaghetti is a little sweeter than the usual. Filipinos love it that way.

I think most of us in the U.S. are pretty hooked on pasta. I prefer noodles of any kind over rice, even with Asian foods. Although I do eat brown rice occasionally. Pasta is so diverse, you can use it in so many dishes.

Pasta is one of my favorites and I think most Americans feel the same. Oddly enough, the only american I know who does not like Pasta is of Italian descent. She says she just got too much of it growing up. I can understand though I'm of Irish descent and I can't stand ham & cabbage. I'll take pasta over ham & cabbage any time.

I am a Filipino also. And I love spaghetti so much. It is one of my favorite foods. Here in the Philippines, we have a pinoy blend on our spaghetti sauce. It has a sweet taste into it. Pinoy-style spaghetti is available at public markets.

My favorite of all time: BAKED ZITI
INGREDIENTS
1 pound dry ziti pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 pound lean ground beef
2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
1 1/2 cups sour cream
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain.
In a large skillet, brown onion and ground beef over medium heat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, Provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheeses are melted.
