I'm Quitting!!! Who's with me???

When that clock strikes midnight I vow to quit smoking cigarettes. Who is with me on this??? Let's start & FINISH the New Year as a NON SMOKER!

i'm not a smoker, but i'm very happy to hear of this resolution of yours. there's probably no better way to start the year 2007 with a breath of fresh air. good luck!

The amount of times that I have tried quitting smoking is unbelievable, but hey you never know, I might just be able to do it this time around :)

I totally understand. I myself have tried so many times I can't count anymore, but I can't keep stalling. Each year that passes I find myself less and less able to breathe doing simple tasks. I know it is wrong to smoke as you are basically killing yourself, but yet it has been hard, because without them there is the withdrawal and I myself get QUITE mean which otherwise is NOT me. It is GOING to be hard, but maybe if we help each other...maybe we can all help to save each other's lives.

I'll try but I can't guarantee it'll happen - I've been smoking for almost 10 years (since I was 15).

I myself have been smoking for 17 years. I started when I was 14, I am now 31. Love you pic...as it says.."We Can Do It"

Thank you for your support :) We will need it I am sure. I have tried before, but have failed as it is NOT an easy thing to quit. But I have 3 kids who need me and I need them WAY more than these stinky sticks!

I guess I am going to try too. I want to try and I have tried so hard too. I have only been smoking for about five years now. I stopped right away when I found out that I was having a baby, but not long after I started back up again. It kind of sucks because my boyfriend still smokes and he really doesn't want to stop right now. I wish he would want to if not for himself, at least for our daughter. It also doesn't help that it seems like the only time we get to have a talk or just a moment to ourselves, when we are smoking. We don't smoke in front of our daughter, so we go into another room and just chat about our day. Lol, look at me coming up with multiple excuses already!!! I am going to try and make it my new years resoulution.

I think what your doing is GREAT!! I hope you will kick the habit, I am in the process of trying to quit as well, smoking for 10 years now, I have tried a few times before, it's a tough thing to do, but there is power in numbers!!! I'll be pulling and praying for you in your fight, I know you can do it!
