myLot is finally getting better and better, the're now avoiding discussions that are just copy paste...
and now inserting photo's are also limited, you can only qualify to post photos that are related to the discussions when you reached at least 5OO posts. well this is also fair enough and to avoid posting picutes that are so irrelevant to the discussions. I know these changes will still serve us best....
thanks and Happy Holiday's everyone!!!

I think it is a good news to hear that MyLot has banned the copy-paste discussions and it will make MyLot somewhat clean. But the limit of posting pics set to 500 points,I don't think it is a good idea. There must have been the banning of pics which are not related to the discussions but the limit set ,I think it is not good. There are many descent users who can increase their earning to alittle bit by posting relevant pics but after setting the limit we are deprieve of that,But I am in favour of allowing the pics only related to the discussions. But I think altogether the decisions are worthy..

U hope is a good rules?
I want start a new topic and I want put 1 photo for describe more good ideea to my topic ! But I can`t ?
Why ?
Cause I have only few post and I need 500 more posts here to can make do this.
So I think is not very good ideea !
If you want you can make a new rule something like that.
" Rule for beginner: You can post only 30 or 40 pics 1000 posts and unlimited after 2000 posts."
Or something similar ...

And another think. You are convicted when I make 500 posts, I put qualified pictures to my or another posts ???
So I think this rule is not very good ! :)
But good luck !
P.S.
You are the boss, is your money so I think you can make everythink. Is democracy way ! :(

We are happy to see that improvement after improvement that make mylot a better place, coz it's really annoying to see those hijackers, spammers, junkers are screwing up the discussion and continue to earn money from mylot.
But i think we still need some improvement though. I has suggested it but not yet got implemented. I think we should have an option to display our response only in other people discussion. This is especially useful when we want to trace back what we wrote in the discussion among the 30 pages of response. We could hardly remember which page we insert our comment and it's ridiculous to open page by page to look for our own response. (it will be even more annoying for those having slow internet connection). Besides, this can help us to avoid double post to the same discussion.

hi there..
well that's a good suggestion too, because i can also relate to that.... cause sometimes its really hard to look back and even take a glimpse of your previous responses especially if there are tons of response in line....
well buddy give it a shot, i know there's a lot of posters that could relate to that too...
thanks for posting, and i hope you could still see this response (well i bet you will)^_^
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

I know. At only .01 for adding a picture somewhere, does this really make a difference? But it also takes more time to do this was well.

I like the new rulings, I don't post photos because I am a total ignoramus when it comes to that stuff. I feel that words can express things adequately if one is using a reasonable vocabulary.
If I were able to post photos, they definately would be inline with the topic! Someone ask about horses, disease, or injury, I'd locate and post a pic that demonstrated the condition and/or the treatment.
I always felt the payment we receive for posting, replying etc is a bonus, a gift we are given for providing content. In return for this gift we should provide the best content we are capable of.
Getting over the 500 post mark isn't that difficult, or may be it was just fairly easy for me because I used to moderate a forum...A little time and a modicum of effort will get those who are under the 500 post mark there in no time.
The only problem I have with the copy and paste issue is this, even when I first started with Mylot, I would copy and paste URLs to avoid errors when offering a link. As far as copying and pasting from others posts, it might be nice to have a quote feature onsite, so others will understand what is being directly addressed in a reply.

Yes. Today mylot has issued coupled of guidelines about uploading the photos.
Now only experienced user of mylot who have more then 500 ratings can upload photos. In addition, only users with a rating over 500 will be allowed to paste text into the discussion box when allowed under myLot guidelines. While it is still a violation of the myLot guidelines to copy and paste others discussions and copyrighted content, there are times when the paste function is helpful, and our best users know the difference.
I think lot of people uploads the photos irrelevant to the discussion and this will occupies the unnecessary space on the server. It is also appreciable that now photos will be rated + or -

It's good to know that there are a lot of people making mylot better and better each day. New Guidelines are ok as long as they announce it earlier and not surprise members when they implement it. As long as the guidelines help mylot to make it better then that's fine. As long as this will benefit everyone so i dont mind new guidelines every now and then.

they are good for the quality of posts but they should not be related to number of posts only as you can reach 500 by typing yes or no for a day of activeness some grading should be introduced

Yeah, it's nice to know that MYLot has done alot of improving but still even though I've been here for a month, I'm still having difficulty knowing the payouts and all. I rarely come on and when I do get the chance to be on here, I do what I can.
