Mylot Is Getting On My Nerves #@#$%??$%

I think that this is a good Idea. keeps people from jsut signing up and spamming there forums.. even though I just saw someone make over 500 discussions in 1 day... I think he should just be banned... lol. but the 500 rating limit is a good idea.

What annoys me is that I can no longer upload photos until I reach a 500 rating. Last night I could upload photos, but today I can't. And yet people who upload photos earn more money than those who don't. I wouldn't worry if I never could have but I noticed the difference when uploading to not uploading and now I miss it. It's like I'm being punished because I take my time to write quality replies rather than reply with one word or one sentence. Up to now I have been pleased with the changes at MyLot. With this one, I'm not happy at all. I have no issue with not allowing copy and paste functions as I don't use them anyway. So what do I do now? Go in and reply with one sentence like a whole lot of other people on here until I reach 500?

I think its a great idea, Ive been here for a few months now and I am sick and tired of watching newbies come in and spam. Copy and paste things into responses or new discussions from the net, or from otehr users, or add stupid, unrelated pictures to posts. At least this way, mylot has some time to fish out teh spammers and copy/pasters and get rid of them. Good way to clean out the trash if you ask me. And they arent talking about copying and pasting as such, just using excerpts from a website to reiterate their point, rather than jsut copying a slab and submitting it, which is what most new users tend to do. Good on mylot, for coming uo with another great way of enforcing their guidelines, people might have to actually post quality content in order to make a buck now. I for one am very happy :D

its to stop people like you from breaking the rules and to help you make money it seems like you are going to loose a lot as you are complaining too much about a few rules if you dont like it then why dont you leave?

i am sorry to hear but if you do it then you can also comments on photos

I think the first part of the new approach is alright.It makes new user to do hard to earn money or else they just copy-paste others response or get from other forums and paste it and gets the credit on them. But the second that i.e posting pics with the response meant only for users having 500 points is somewhat upsetting for me.Like me there are others who really earned a good amount on uploading pics related to the discussions.I think everyone should be given the right to upload pics and it must be the administartor's job to see which pics are related to the respective discussions or not,If it is not penalty should be posed on them...

Seems like a good idea. I'm sure myLot has given careful thought to the changes they made.

It doesn't really bother me, except that I used to paste my comment into MS Word to run a quick spell-check and then paste it back into mylot. I have the instant spell-checker plug-in for Firefox but I've found that it doesn't catch everything. I will have to rely on it alone until I reach 500. No biggie.

I think mylot tring to restrict the new users who are posting a copy-paste discussions. And the other thing is they are going to pay above 500 rank users 0.04$ for images because they want the new users stay connected to mylot till there 500 rank for the image earning program.

Yeah it's stupid somehow but it won't tolerate copy/paste newbies. Only experienced users can do pasting on the discusion box and it's quite useful if you already have disscusions on your word processor ready to be posted.

i am almost about to reach 500 and soon you will also. So why the fuss. Just do not copy or paste untill you have done 500 points. i think that it is gonna take less than 6 days.

If it's getting on your nerves, then start posting more discussions and start replying to people. Then you won't have to worry about it.

I think this will be one of my shorter replies .. but I have still given it thought before posting ... ronyjohn007 .. you don't have to come into MyLot and post ... and if you don't like the rules then I wonder why you would still want to come in here But make just another 307 posts you'll be as happy as Larry again because you'll be able to copy and paste and use pictures ... :o)

I think my lot its a just forum where you have to discuss what you think about some situations and things.

its a great idea...it keeps the newbies from comin in and starting a hundred stupid discussions to try and make thier millions.

nahhh....I dont mind..although i have well over 500..I remember not too long ago..you dont get that much money for pics anyways,and theer is alot of spam goin on with newbie users that its ruing it for all of us.As long as i am gettiong paid for my extra time and effort im not gonna complain..where else can u make this easy money? And you will be at 500 before you know it..if you can try 30 a day..thats my daily goal..although this month its been around 20..been too tired from shopping and cleaning for the Holiday,..Merry Christmas..and take care!

i think they are introduced to improve quality of discussion but they are not enough some more transparent features should be introduced

i dont think its a very good idea, so does that mean rich people can do whatever they want poor shouldnt do anything. who has earned can do anything who is trying to earn will be punished.

I read some discussions earlier, and I think it's because a lot of MyLot'ers asked for this sort of thing. I'm new here. I like it here. I'll ruffle some feathers, but I'll try to follow the rules here. However, I've seen a lot of the veterans of this site, only asking for more and more rules, in an attempt to punish cheaters and such, but thus, as you clearly see, making life harder on those of us who follow the rules. Don't blame MyLOt. Blame the cheaters and the crybabies.
