What do you think of Carrie Underwood's new song..."Wasted"?

How do you like the new single just released by Carrie Underwood titled "Wasted"? Do you think it is a strong follow-up to "Before he Cheats"? I personally like the song but think she could have gone with a better choice. Your thoughts?

I like the song. I think she did a good job on it. Not sure I'd heard it before. But I don't listen to much country.

@porwest Beyonce's country debut was pathetic. And all the reviews pre-release were saying how good she was. Umm, no! And, so many rappers trying to go country! My husband says they failed in rap, so trying country now. Sad! And even sadder, is that it is being accepted!

@kareng I think you are right about that. It's become a bit of a hybrid these days. I guess it makes it a bit more commercial, and therefore, makes more money.

Hey I love it. I was a big fan of hers from the start of her season on Idol, and had her album before many other people I know. I really enjoy listening to her music, and I don't think that any song she releases will be a bad one. I think it was a great choice to go with "Wasted" after "Before he Cheats", and I cannot wait for her next album to come out. Now if I could just stop hearing about Carrie winning that award, and Faith Hill getting cranky as a result...

Hill's classic momment..haha! Well they claim it was all a joke and that she did the exact same thing when they called Tim McGraw's name. I think Carrie and her music is here to stay. She has a very strong voice and is right up there with Martina McBride in my book!

I love all her music. She is just a great performer. She in my opinion is like the late Tammy Wynette, wh4en she sings the words just roll out, she doesn't seem to try hard to do it. She is phenominal
