I consider myself to be pretty normal, but at times I'm obsessive about which way the toilet paper is on the roll. I always want it to come off the top and not the bottom. If I'm in someone's home I have a hard time not changing it if it comes off the bottom. I do change it in public restrooms and I've gotten so bad about it that my husband will change the toilet paper roll at work. He told me that when he finds it the "wrong" way that he says to himself, "What's wrong with these people, don't they have wives?"
What kinds of things are you weird or obsessive about?

Hey, are we related. The only difference is that I like the toilet paper to roll out instead of from the top. I am laughing my butt off at your comment about being at another person's house and fighting the demons that lay within to not change the direction of the roll. I had always changed it at work. Of course I would have to change it before I could use it. LOL. Thank you for making me feel like I am not alone.

I don't have problems with toilet paper, but when i put my papers of work in order they're have to stay in order of size. If they not in order, i try to let then in a size more organized, but i think isn't pass in this.

i am absolutely obsessive about my personal things and I don't want anybody to use them..if I see someone trying to use them I literally shout at him and get really upset..I mean I don't sharing something but honestly I don't like doing that, especially the expensive things that I have..

I'm obessive about being on time! I can't stand being late to anything! And the doctor wondered how I found so early on that I was pregnant with both my children! I was 10 mins late and I knew I was pregnant. I tell my hubby now that if he is not ready to leave the house so we can be on time that I will leave without him. I drive him nuts!

"I was 10 mins late and I knew I was pregnant." That is great! LOL! I was the same way and I might have to start using this line when talking about how I knew I was pregnant. Though we in general are not people who are on time, we call this Driscoll time in our house. If we're 10 minutes late we're running on Driscoll time if we're any later then that we're just plain late!

Hey lady, you could be suffering from OCD -- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Well, not to worry as this can be overcome by getting the advice from the psychiarist.
Anyway, i was once like that -- perfectionist. After reading some articles about OCD, I'm more flexible now and relax.
First, you have to tell yourself all those things that annoyying you are actually nothing to be alarmed. Try to ignore. Tell yourself that it is ok. Just move on with it. You have to help yourself at the early sign of this before it gets serious. ENJOY and SMILE:D

hehe, you know what? I think I was a perfectionist, but it doesnt come to the extent as OCD. I could't stand mistakes,i will re-do things over and over again till its perfect, no room for error. It makes me feel great, but I was a control freak and very stressed out over people who is not on the same league. No fun at all. Then I met this guy who later become my hubby.Boy he drives me nuts!!! A total wreck. But he enjoy the best of laughter, very creative and very calm. Now I see things in moderation, and learn to see beautiful things in imperfection.

I bite my fingernails to the nub.
I'm with you on the toilet paper.
And my wife won't make me sandwiches anymore because I'm so particular with every bite having the same amount of everything in it.
There's plenty of other things too. I might have OCD but it doesn't interfere with life so I don't worry about it.

That's not bad. Just because we have certain ways we do things does not mean we are obsessive or not normal. I might be saying this just to make myself feel better. Anyways, my obsessive thing is cleaning. I can not leave my house in the morning until my house is clean! It's bad...beds have to be made, kitchen spotless, vaccuming done. I will fret about it all day if I don't. I hate coming back home to a mess.

When I put my canned products away I have to have them facing the front so when I open I can see what I want. When I vaccum the lines have to go one way.

I am obsessive about alot of things but one of my big things is shoes. When I take off my shoes they have to be lined up side by side in the correct spot. I didn't think it was that bad until i had my daughter at the doctors office and they asked her to take her shoes off so they could weigh her. She took them off and neetly sat them on the floor making sure they were lined up side by side. the nurse lopoked at me and laughed and asked if I had taught her that.
