charges we spent for accessing internet

I spend approximately Rs 1100 per month. I have Internet connection with unlimited downloading and uploading.

when i study in a university and they charge us 6000 per semester but thats not much for us as we usually use it more than 24 hours a day and also we download a lot of things which makes up for the fee.....and the speed that is provided by the university is also good...we have a LAN connection of 100 mbps

i spent 999 pesos or $20 a month, i am using my net connection for personal use, i mean in the house, its broadband.

Your question came to me at the right time. Upto yesterday (23.12.2006) I was spending $2 per hour to be on the Internet. In fact even mylot was eating into my earnings. But from today I wake up to a different world. I got my ADSL connection and I have to pay only $25 per month for using the Internet 24 hours a day, everyday. For this amount you can use as many computers as possible, but the speed of 12mpbs (56kpbs earlier) will reduce when the number of computers increase. For offices there is a package for $65 per month. In this case the speed won't get affected much though the number of computers increase. Please note that the charges are the same irrespective of the number of computers used. I am from Sri Lanka.

I on other hand pays only 300 rupees (pakisntani)for one month

We spent about $45.00 a month for internet conncection. I don't think it's bad at all.

I get a very good speed and it comes free with the appartment. So I have no worried on that front. It is jsut the proper usage of time on internet thats the issue.

I dont waste money on internet much,it is about 250 Rs per day .before i used the land line connection to use the internet but now i have changed it to wireless.
