Really? I didnt know about that. Just all soy products- like vegan stuff, or supplements? If they are supplements, where would you get them at and approximately how much are they?

Progesteron is helpfull....tricks the body into thinnking your are ovulating and is safer the estrogen (causes blood clots) ..but for the most part...menopause will happen and you have to deal with it in a way that is most beneficial for you...BTW..hystorectomy or removal of your ovaries will bring on early menopause...they are not cures.

Unfortunately menopause is something that we woman have to go through eventually. Hormone replacement therapy is one option but before making a decision talk to your doctor and discuss all the options available to you. A friend of mine had some success using alternative medicine for her symptoms which were a bit severe. Good luck and you will get through it.

My girlfriend used evening primrose oil plus some other stuff she got from the health shop. I will check with her and let you know what the other thing was.

Menopause is a natural occurrence, as other posters have said. I found that attitude made a lot of difference! In today's society, it's treated like an illness, and if you look at it in that light, it's a lot harder to deal with. It's not an illness, but a natural process. Your body knows what it's doing. If you have mood swings, get more sleep. If you have hot flashes that are difficult to endure (a few mild ones shouldn't cause any concern) try black cohosh. If you haven't entered menopause yet, make an effort to get yourself in good physical shape because the healthier you are, the less it affects you.

apparently there is a website about a natural progesterone cream. I am going to give that a try first. I think the correct address is www.womenlivingnaturally.com or something like that. It is a cream with wild yam that you alternately rub on your tummy, insides of you wrists and inner thighs. I hope it works because I only like to use meds as a last resort
