madavie Thanks for the response. I talked to a bunch of Lawyers and they all told me there was nothing I could do. They said because I didn't die, I can't sue.

madavie YOu can go to county building and look back to the previous owners to if they still have one. Or you can call your local DMV with the serial number and see if they still have it on file.
