how to get certificate of origin for 1970's mobilehome

about five years ago purchased this older mobilehome and never recieved my title of ownership. tryed to locate someone where i bought it from but have not been successful.i bought it from a used mobilehome lot but its no longer in business.im interested in title because i want to trade in this mobilehome for a new one and have been approved with this old mblhm but i need my title

I'd suggest talking to a lawyer who specializes in real estate dealings. I'm sure they would be able to point you in the right direction! :)

it depends on where you live. you can get the number of the mobilehome off the tag which will be either outside the front door or on the back of the unit. Then go to the DMV and they probably will have the info.

YOu can go to county building and look back to the previous owners to if they still have one. Or you can call your local DMV with the serial number and see if they still have it on file.
