What to do when a doctor almost kills you?

What do you do when a doctor neglects to care for you and you almost die. Now the catchy part is, I cannot sue him because I did not die and I am fine now. I found out I was pregnant inJune and when I started having complications I went to my doctor,He told me I would be fine and that he was going out of town for a week. He told me to come back and he would do some more testing. 2 days later I was in the ER with a ruptured tube, 28% of my blood was lost and I almost died in the operating room.Another doctor performed the surgery and saved my life. I have yet to hear from my doctor whoby the way had been my physician for 10 years.Any suggestions on what to do?
