I'm a stay at home mom too... I also homeschool my oldest child, she's 10. The youngest wants to do schoolwork, but she's only 16 months & thinks books are for eating. LOL.

I'm a new stay at home mom. My son was born August 3rd.

Wow you must be really good drawing things and incorporating them into the computer. I also would like to learn web design but I don't have the time.

If only we could get our husbands to understand how important the work we do at home all day is. My husband thinks I don't do enough.

remaster, I agree with you. I never knew how difficult it could really be to be at home with the kids all day! It's not like you can put in your 8 hours and then leave. They're still there, except now it's time to feed them dinner, get them a bath, read them a story and put them to bed. I never really thought about that before I was a sahm. Luckily my husband is pretty great and if I've had a bad day or am feeling a little overwhelmed, he's always willing to bail me out when he comes home and let me get a break.

Studying further? Wow! It seems that you do like your job! You know it is rear to have that. Good for you! Of course, after all these years that have passed since the day you answered my post, I think that either you study something else, or you have already that precious position that you have worked so hard to get.
