My husband and I are mixed races. I am caucasian and he is Puerto Rican. We've never encountered outward hatred, but I know there are some people still out there who disagree with it.

I am married to a man who is Puerto Rican. I am caucasian. All my students remember my name more easily, but they always ask "How are you a Lopez?"

Were you happier as an adult paying bills, or a student studying?

The only think I can think of now that I have to pay bills is that I'd rather be a student. It would be so much easier if I were just a student studying for a quiz!

For me I would say that making anything in the crock pot is easy. Just throw it in and let it sit. Barely any dishes.

I prefer gas but have electric right now. I will convert to gas when my electric stove gives out.

alopez YES BOYS SHOULD COOK! I think that men and women should share the responsibility in the household. I hate doing all the housework, plus working my own full time job.

alopez I try to when I can, however I can't help sometimes but think that the money isn't going towards food or something necessary like that. I feel that they are going towards drugs or alcohol

alopez My father's birthday is on the 23rd. I always feel so badly. We separate some of his Christmas gifts to give him for his birthday. He usually doesn't care, but it can't be wrapped with christmas wrapping.
