I really love my first name, but i am planning to change my last name, as it is difficult for most of the people to pronounce it, and i looking for some common names that meets up my lifestyle and my country.

I have always thought my name was very plain but since I have gotten married I have at least added a syllabol. You are looking for new last name huh? You are from Canada right? I think since you are a man and will be carrying on the family name you should consider keeping your original name as a middle name to carry on with tradition but maybe add another name to the end. Maybe you could even shorten the name you have make it easier to pronounce ya know. If all else fails you could go with Jones thats an easy one. ;)

I like my name, I wouldn't want to change it. I even gave it to my daughter as her middle name.

I too have a very long name a sort of a tongue twister which at times is crucified and very difficult for those who are not conversant with European languages, but till date i have not though of changing it. My name means happiness in Portuguese and I am very happy with it. Firstly because it was lovingly sought and given to me by my parents and secondly because I believe that I have brought happiness to all around me and I would n['t want to take it back.
