Grocery Stores not Stocked...

You would think with the Holidays here, that the Grocery Stores would have ordered plenty to meet their customers needs. I visited 2 Stores today, and they were out of several things I needed to cook Christmas Dinner. Uuugh!!! Did anyone else run into this problem?

I'm not surprised. We have so many more people living in my town since Hurricane Katrina. The local Walmart is wiped out every weekend. I mean the shelves go bare. I make sure I do my shopping during the week or else you are left with no toilet paper for the coming week...amongst other things!

having worked retail I can tell you that sometimes its not the supply problems in the store, but being the holidays they are short staffed! If you have two cases of the stuff in the back but no one to stock it.
