well at the beginning of december we usually put up all our christmas decorations including our christmas tree. For christmas eve we go to our families house for a pot luck dinner. then we usually drive around and look at christmas decorations such as lights and stuff then we go home , read the night before christmas, then wake up really early open gifts..then go to our families to open gifts and we end up having two christmas dinners...we have christmas lunch at my in lawas then a dinner at my families house. its a very busy time of year...but i love it!

In our family, we go to church on Christmas Eve, and celebrate afterwards, we open our gifts on Christmas morning, and we have Christmas dinner with extended family. Over the following days, we usually take time to visit family and friends we didn't have the chance to see. We leave decorations up until New Years.

Growing up I used to have a big dinner with my family Christmas Eve, go to church and then run home and open our presents at midnight. Now I just give my nieces and nephews presents.

I celebrate Christmas Eve singing. I sing in some choirs around here and for Christmas Eve I take some friend and we go by carol. I mean we sing all the day and the night long and we eat and drink from people's houses.(Christmas Eve's day). Isn't it interesting?

I am sooooo excited about Christmas this year because it will be my grandaughter's first Christmas. We usually have a tree and decorations and a big meal and all that sort of stuff but this year we can do the whole Santa thing again. Just can't wait!
