Do you have a clock-tower in your city/village/town?

Oh yes we do. In the Uk there are a lot of Clock - towers I am sure you must have heard about Big Ben ??? It earns recognition as the largest four faced chiming clock in the world. Then further down in Cardiff there is a clock tower too Baby Big Ben is the Welsh version of Big Ben at the Pierhead in Cardiff. A clock tower similar to Big Ben is the Chamberlain Tower of the University of Birmingham, England. Often referred to as "Old Tom" or "Old Joe", it is around three quarters of the size of Big Ben. Its four faces are each seventeen feet in diameter.

i have seen a clock tower in dubai, i didnt seen any yet in india and in my town , because i lives in a small city thats why we dont have a CLOCK TOWER here

In Dhaka city there are clock tower in 2 placed one in Capital Dev. Authority building and another in City Corporation Building (City Mayor's office). In villages and other towns there are huge mosque from where people hear 5 times a day Azan (Islamic invitation for prayer) and can understand times of the day and night.

There is also a clock tower in my city.It is a small height one and at the main market place.Though its use is outdated now in this celullar phone age,still it is errect and ready to show time from its stopped hands. Also it gives a good shelter for many pigeons those we see very often while marketing there.Since it is the only clock tower of our city we appreciate it very much irrespective of its unmaintained condition.Thanx

yup there is 1 tower its name is kamlatower ,it is showing correct time 4 more than 50 years it named after jk companies founder mr kamlapat singhania ...it one of historical monument of kanpur

ya even in my town it is there near the big multinationaly company and i often adjust my time according to that clock and i really love to watch it and i take my relative there to visit that place and even they enjoy it.

yes...i do hav a clock tower in my town...it s pretty old...it stopped few years bk... but started runing agn :)

where I grew up, there isn't any type of clock tower, perhaps because it's such a rural area. my school has one in the middle of campus. I never really pay attention to it though unless I'm sitting near it and it starts going off.

My town got one clock tower. It located middle of my town. This clock tower was built around 1980 before I born. Hehehe..

we have a non-functional one here in the city...looks old and worn out

there are 2 clock towers in my college.one is small,other is big but not crearly visible from far distances.

yes here in Rio de Janeiro have one they call 'Central do Brasil'(Center of brazil) but that is a place for murders,pickpockets is really dangerous there!

I'm live in Italy only country are a church and evry church are a tower with a clock, whith bell that song the hours.

My city has one big clock on a big building (but not clock tower) and we use it every year on the independence day to count the midnight strike. One funny incident happened when the clock did not strike 12 and everybody had waited like from 8:00 p.m. Everybody was quite frustrated but what to do? So that year we celebrated without the clock chime. LOL

yes!there is a clock just miles after my house,and a beautiful antique too.there is a sculpture of a person too,may b some kind of neta .we call it Ghanta ghar.

Yes my city Hyderabad (Pakistan) has a clock tower but not working.......
