heylover where I grew up, there isn't any type of clock tower, perhaps because it's such a rural area. my school has one in the middle of campus. I never really pay attention to it though unless I'm sitting near it and it starts going off.

heylover I normally tip according to the kind of service I was given. If I had a lousy waitress who only came to give me my food and bill, she's not going to get as much as someone who continuously comes to the table and atleast shows that she likes her job.
