what are you scared of? - Share your Phobias

My phobias are : 1)Clowns , I don't know what it is they freak me out , every since my kids and I went to the circus , and a clown was in my face and every where I went he was there , and just staring at me , i just don't like them , I cant even watch them on the Tv . 2)also I am afraid of driving or walking over the metal and grated bridges , because you can see under neath you , and can see how far the ground is from where you are . Also , you know the man hole covers on the sidewalk , well I will walk around them because when I was pregnant with my first son I actually fell through one , and now I wont step on them again . 3).I think the only reason why I am afraid of the dark is because of my Ex husband always said he would get me in the dark around the corner , but I have gotten over that part .

Phobias are indeed a integral part of a lot of personalities. They prevent people from taking risk in their lives. There are things like heights, speed, water and other rational things that people fear of. But at the same time there are things which are supernatural and very unnnatural, which are a source of phobias of a lot of people. I too have phobias and for me I fear the heights a lot.

I am afraid of snakes, I hate them and can not be near them or even see movies or television show with them. I also am afraid of the dark for many different reasons. There are other things that I am afraid of like bees cause I am allergic to them.

i am scared of tiger ,when i was a young child ,i saw it in the zoo ,i was frightened when i saw a big tiger there . i am afraid of seeing frogs too ,i think they are also something makes me sick:)

I am very scared of dracula movie.I just watch a dracula movie for one time.But I remember the horrible plots for a long time.Especially when i walk in the dark night alone,I often have an illusion that someone is following me.So i am very nervous and too scared to see my back.I just want to get away from there as quickly as i can.Now i seldom go to the dark place when i am alone.I can't get over it.

i can't handle rubberbands anywhere near me. don't wear one on your wrist around me, or put one on something i might touch. i cannot eat with one anywhere in the kitchen. i can't be in sight of them. what would happen if one day it was crucial i touched one? i don't know what i would do. break down and cry?

I am scared of venomous snakes.Especially Cobra.No I haven't gotten over it.I can fight a lion but not a chance again cobra.

yuck,am also really scared of cockroaches,especially the big ones,they look so creepy!!all other insects i can tolerate but not the cockroaches.i hop on to bed whenever i see one,its my hubby who has to come to my rescue.

I'm not afraid of roaches, but I have claustrophobia. I totally fear small closed spaces. I was in a mall once, and got caught in the middle of a big crowd because there was a moviestar that time who was performing on stage. Good thing there's a nearby store, so I was able to slip my way out of the crowd and into the store. I was running out of breath and it was such a horrible experience. That happened years ago, now I don't know if I still have the phobia because I haven't experienced an attack recently.

i can honestly say that im very afraid of heights. i didnt used to be, but for some reason as i got older, places like cedar point would seriously freak me out. i dont like to be scared of stuff, but i really can help it. i wish i could hop on a roller coaster and have the time of my life, but im gonna have to break this fear first.

Spiders is one. Bees, I am allergic. And my kids getting sick. That breaks my heart.

OMG!!!! i think i'm the weirdest person when it comes to phobias... OMG!! let me list down all my phoabias... 1.) afraid of crossing the streets 2.) afraid of stares 3.) afraid of swimming 4.) afraid of height 5.) afraid of dark places 6.) afraid of ghost ha ha hha 7.) afraid to sleep alone at night.... tsk tsk tsk poor me, what are other things that i'm scared of??? hayyyyy well to be proud of myself, i'm not afraid of cockroaches, or insects... just don't put it inside my shirt or throw it to me surprisingly, and i can stand them without a scare... :-) I thank you!!! bow !

Something about strong winds and tornados really fear me. One time, I was playing tennis in a dark afternoon, when suddenly strong winds swept over the place and I really scrambled to grab a pole that holds the net. I thought it was a tornado. But it was really strong. It rained furiously and I got all wet...went to my room wet and a bit trembling.

Ghosts Darkness Height Fire Super models(Specially girls) These are my phobias. I think this is very difficult to come over your phobias. Unless and until I would take a brave attempt to face them in reality, I will be scared of those things.

I have a phobia about crowds, I start to have panic attacks, I prefer to do most of my shopping on the internet, grocery shopping is ok because I tend to do it 'in the quiet periods' I also have a fear of flying and will only fly if it is absolutely vital, I've only flown three or four times in 35 years and it took me 26 years to get a plane for a first time, I know it's irrational but in todays world it's understandable I guess.

I am scared of spiders!!! I can not stand those creepy, crawly, hairy, eight legged, hanging upside down from a thread, pounce on you when you don't see me, hide under the sheets to bite your butt in the middle of the night bugs! And they are not even bugs! They are arachnids! They are so horrid they have a category all their own! LOL OK, spiders, scorpions, mites, and ticks fall into the arachnid category...but those aren't that great either!!! My son is my spider person. That is, he will get the spider for me. He will either kill it or catch it and set it free. And he knows that if he did not get it, he has to lie to me and tell me he did. But he likes torturing me. LOL So, to prove to me he got it, he will have to show me. ha ha Not really funny when a person is scared of them. And I always seem to be the one person that can spot that one lonely spider in a bush or on the wall. This past Halloween, I saw this horrible spider and begged my partner to get it. Well, he didn't want to kill it yet because we were having a Halloween party. So he got a glass jar and caught it. Would you believe that the spider was so ugly because it had hundreds of baby spiders on its back? Ewwwwww!!!!! I was totally creeped out and was scared all night that someone was going to break the jar and baby spiders would be all over the place!!!!

I hate spiders, unless they are tiny, tiny, and then I can take care of them. I despise cockroaches even though we've never had them. My mother moved into a really bad apartment building one time and was having to use a flyswatter to swat the roaches off of the walls. It really grossed me out big time! And last summer, we had 5 or 6 of those big water bug/roaches come into the house. I was SO TOTALLY grossed out! We chased those suckers down! and sprayed and put out roach poison in the little boxes, etc. and never had problems again, but boy was I nervous for awhile. Every time I had an itch on my foot or anything like that, I'd jump and look to see if there was a bug crawling near by!

I am scared of snake and of close space where there is no way out. If someone will lock me inside a closet..that will give me a heart attack..LOL

I'm afraid of stay alone. I don't know if have something more terrible than this. I hate stay for a long time in a closed small room. I imagine bad thinks when i'm alone. sometime I think I will die and nobody will know or notice. Neither my mother. Sometimes I think a lot of things stupid like that... and it's scare me. I guess i'm afraid of myself LOL
