How old were you when you got married? or at what age you expect to be married?

I met my husband when I was 18. We met at university. I fell in love at first sight, though he didn't seem interested. So we became best friends. A couple of years later I finally told him how I felt - and it took a couple of months but he admitted that he was in love with me too. We married at age 24, after we'd both finished university and had a career started and some money to start a life together. We have been married for 25 years:)

i'm almost 21 when i get married. Before i said i want to get married at the age of 27 but it much earlier than i thought.:)

I got married way too young at 18 years old. It is better to wait and finish school and be independant before you get married.

I am only 17, going to be 18 soon, so right now i have to concentrate on my studies and career. I dont mind getting married now either, but it will be child marriage! I have a very nice boyfriend and i love him alot, so i cant wait to spend more time with him! But thinking practically, i would like to complete my studies by the age of 21-22 and perhaps get married after that. Marriage is a big responsibility and i would like to tie the knot only if my partner and me are ready for it. I want to be financially independent so that i can buy my own house, car, etc. and i can support myself and my family! Although i just cant wait to be independent and get married to my boyfriend, but i know that patience always pays! When i was born, my parents had gone to an astrologer and he predicted my future. He had said that i will marry at the age of 22, i will be independent, happy and successful in life. I dont believe in this completely, but all the things cant be false. i dont think that there is any ideal age for marriage, both the partners should just be mentally prepared for it, and should be able to plan their future life together!

I am going to marry my girlfriend when I'll be 22. I think it is a good age to marry, anyway there is no such think as a "good" or "bad" age to marry - it's too personal.

ummm....i dont really know when i shud get married.... i mean u never know when you meet the man you love!! moreover there isnt any age limit to get married....one of my aunts was married when she was 21 against her wishes to this guy....who she never liked ....so as u can guess her life wasnt a happy one!! but then at the age of 53 or something ...she went on this euro trip and met this man...and fell in love with him!! now these guyz are married and they are the happiest couple i knw!!! (i too like tht guy...hez the only one in the family ..who buyz me evrything i want!!!lol) ^_^

I really think i want to get married around the age of 20 or 21 but I'm not going to force it. I think I've already found my one and only true love so I'm on my way to a good start so far.

I would love to get married at twenty-five only if I'm successful and my mate is as well. When your young its best to wait and date your partner for awhile. But if you just really feel the need to be married then I suggest counseling so that you have a preview of what your commiting to.

I would like to be married around 23 or 24. By this time in my life, I will be finished with college, have a stable career and be financially secure. Even though it's 4 or 5 years away, I am excited to get married!

I'm still not married and I have no plans yet.. I hope I will be married before 40 (or soon after) but it's really hard to tel, i got to find the right one first and so far I still have no luck with that :(

I got married at the age of 20. My husband and I have talked before that sometimes we wish we would of waited to get married so that we could of finished college first but there is never a day that we have regretted marry each other though.

I'm a student right now. First I want to finish my studies, get a good job (I hope) and the I will see... I want to live my life a little before I will get married. I think that a good age to get married for me is past 25 years.

I first got married at the age of 19. This was not what I had planned for my life but things happen and plans get changed. If I had to do it again (or the way I planed orginally) I would not have gotten married until my education was completed and had a decent financial situation. I think if people thought a lot more about what marriage is people would be waiting until they were a bit older to get married. I did not go about it right as I was always trying to make my parents happy and ended up in two failed marriages. If I find that someone it will be because it is what I want this time and will be forever.

i am now 20, and going 21 this february.. maybe a job first after graduation, and then if i have a stable job, ill search for the right one.. maybe, lets say, age 27-28.. old enough.. but im planning to have a younger wife so that i can have more than one child..^^

I married at 27 and that was early. A friend of mine told me he didn't think I would ever get married and now I understand what he meant when he said it. I was immature in certain ways at that time that I couldn't see what he meant and now that I do I would not tie myself down to any man. I think it depends on the person. Some people at 19 can handle things better than someone at 39.

I got married when I was 24. I feel it was the right age for me but everyone and every situation is different. I was just finishing college and my husband was almost done school as well. My husband and I decided we wanted to be married a few years before having any children. We wanted to enjoy each other first and not rush anything. Now, we are very happy with a 14.5 month old little boy. We just bought a bigger place to live in the country and everything seems to be going well. A lot of people told us we were to young to get married but we didn't think so. When I was younger I never thought I would actually get married. I just never found the right guy until I met my husband. I had basically decided if I wasn't married by the time I was 30 I was still going to look into having children either adopting or having a sperm donor or something. Now I don't even have to consider this. ;) Are you married?

I got married at 20. It only lasted 6 months since then I have never been married. Been with the same guy for 12 years we are happy the way things are. My sister just celebrated her man just celebrated her 25 years of non Marriage. That is what the invatation said. They are very happy.
