importance of history

yes u r right u know what the biggest hurdle in our progress is our egoness " i know it " without finding good from the great history.

i think its first important to know our history fully.and then their mistakes...its not wrong to analyse the mistakes of our history.. only if we make an attempt to analyse will we be able to correct our mistakes..theres no use just knowing our history.. so this is my solution towards this problem.

I think whatever progress or wherever we stand now we should never forgot your past history as from where I have come or from where I belong to..It applies to many cases..Some may be when we are in real progress or developing our career in fast pace and earning alot of money ,then at that time we should never forget the past and never feel over donfidence because it can lead you in failure..also wherever we are staying we should never forget our motherland and mother language..

well it is really important thing i think it is imporant for everyone at every stge we can learn lot of things due to history....

it's true history repeats itself but if we noticed then it is already too late. i think it is important to remember the lessons brought by history. lessons which guide our ways and actions that should never be forgotten even in the darkest times.

Yes History is important. For without a past we will not have a future. Because of our past history thats why we strive to be better. yes it is true that history repeats it self but if you look at it closely we also repeated the mistake we did from our past. what u say is correct..it is very important to atleast know the basics of history..so things like the war of independence,civil war, struggle for human rights and stuffs like that provide a great degree of insights and helps a person in shaping his character..and as u say since history repeats itself we need to ensure that we also learn fron history..and although its merely said in todays world but the initiative has to be taken by people like u and me..

History is very important. It gives us the knowledge and understanding of our beginnings. It helps us understand the principles and the dynamics of everything that is here today. History can also prevent us from doing the mistakes of our forefathers. Yes we do make the same mistakes of our past, but I believe that mistakes these can help us determine the solutions.

in my opinion history is a must wether u know the ful or just little. every citizen should know the history of their country.

If you believe there is a link between our future and our past then you must see the human being as being the essential point of contact, the linch pin that links past present and future, we can only understand the process of societal change by understanding our role in it, without understanding our histoty and we are desrined to repete it
