i often chat on the internet because i think it can help me to make more friends.but i don't think that exchanging personal information on the internet is safe because there are some people using the internet to do some evil things.you'd better not exchange your personal information to someone who you are not familiar with.

I do. Its where i get the chance to be with my friends and meet new people. But of course just be careful in giving informations to those you have just met.

its safe and also no. Its safe if we are exchanging with some good person atleast not bad person.So its better not to exchange personal information till we get some opinion on the unknown person.

I would have to say that it is absolutely NOT safe to give any personal information about yourself over the internet. Yes, I chat online, but do not provide personal information over the internet.
