I think that sometimes new discussions get lost in the rush of the number that are available at the time and possibly they then get overlooked. I have had some good responses to some of the discussions I have started but others there has been minimal.
Also it all depends on the tags you use because once there is one response to a discussion and appropriate tags are used then that discussion will come up more often.
Good luck in the future but now you do have at least one response to this discussion, and hopefully more will come along. :)

Sometimes it is worth reviving old discussions, because there are many good discussions that just get missed in the general mass of others. I am finding it a bit disappointing that some people use 'popular' tags rather than the ones that relate to the discussion.

I'm a new user and I've started 3 discussions that really should have had an explosion of responses but r not doing that well. I think that there should be a tag for "discussions without responses" or "discussions with few responses". Atleast then, those ones will get a chance to be seen? What do you think, MyLot?

I should yet identify which discussions interests people a lot and which not. Because for so of my discussions there are still 0 responses. Hope so they wouldn't go to brainbusters.

I have only had two discussions that actually got a decent number of responses, most are just one or two. I think things fly by so quickly that they just go unnoticed. Wish I could get more responses.

There is a section in the discussions that is "discussion with no responses" and if I have any spare time left after responding to discussions from my friends, I go there. Generally however I find enough to respond to in my friends discussions although I do go to the very end of the discussions they started. Sometimes it does revive a discussion for them. :)

It depends on the Subject is what I have found, and if I can keep the discussion going. Now with the New look, it is a lot easier to keep them going than it was before, but I still have one of my first ones unanswered... So it just depends on if you ask a Question that peaks everyone's interest.

Yes that is normal. I guess some topics interest different people and other things dont. I know I say to myself not that same topic again and don't respond because it has all been said already.

sometimes i felt so left out. because nobody really give much effort in answering my discussions. though i am not that good in making one but still not much of mylotters responded to my posts. and that hurts. but i still keep an open mind and try to understand everything here! anyways, thanks friend!

Hi sherinek. Sometimes I get enough responses and sometimes I get so many I can't keep up with the responding. By the time you have ten pages+, it is very difficult to answer them all. I do try though. Like my post about Saturday. I have all but given up trying to keep up with that one. They just keep on coming. I thank you all for responding to that post. I do have very many posts from long ago that I still have no responses to, but I don't worry about this. I try to respond to my friends posts as they appear. Sometimes I am not very successful, but I keep trying. I will answer more of your new ones now.

I do not get a lot of responses from ANY of my topics, I have been a member for a week and I have gotten two responses the whole time I have been here! I am sad!
