If you make jewelry - where do you like to buy your castings?

I've been looking around for good silver ring castings especially, but it's hard to find any that are affordable.
I've found a lot of my earring castings that I use on Jewelry Television (www.jtv.com). But they don't have a lot of options on silver rings. Mostly gold. I do like their variety on most things though. I just wish they'd have more castings.
Ebay also had a lot of overpriced castings, some that I've bought just out of desperation.
I'm interested to know where other jewelry makers buy castings for gemstones. Snaptites, bezel sets, anything.
Let me know what kind of castings you like and where you've found them.

Try going to Fire mountain gems. You can order their catalog online(free) or just browse their online store. You can find pretty much anything you are looking for. They have a great selection of pretty much anything a jewelry maker could want.

We cast our own using either delft clay or cuttlefish bone depending on the complexity of the design. Its really easy to do and saves a fortune on buying pre made castings. Precious metal clay is fun too, but quite expensive.

I get all my craft supplies from a store near me called Michael's. It's a craft store. They always have what I need.

They just built one near us. I found they have good prices on silver ear wires and stuff. And on earring backings as well.
I just wish they also sold at least silver gemstone castings. That would be cool. But yes, good source for beaded jewelry especially there.

I have found that going directly to jewellery suppliers and buying wholesale they give a good deal. I tend to lean towards eBay though due to distance and not having to buy quite so much. If I were you I would phone a few jewellers and ask about their suppliers.
Good Luck
