Go there to do what? My friend told me if I want a visa in Korea to stay there for long, all I need to do is marry him. Think about that. I nearly killed him afterwards for suggesting this. hahaha...

Here in the Philippines, if you are a frequent flyer or you have been to other places in the world before or you have a visa for Australia or America or Japan, your visa will be issued to you in 3 days and it's almost 90% sure. I was there in 2005 for 3 months and I was lucky to have visited other places first so I didn't have much difficulty obtaining the visa. Visa for 60 days is free. You just have to prove to them that you're not planning to stay there illegally or work there without the proper papers. Btw, non-native English speakers are not allowed to teach English in Korea.
