My watch has stopped recently. It's a seiko, three years old, only. And i paid 300 dollars for it. Thought it would last a life time. Now it's away for repair, and i hope it's not to expensive to repair.

I always set my clock and watch for 12 hours. I am more used to the 12 hour time than the 24 hour time set. I have never been comfortable with military time. Military time would confuse me. LOL

I prefer to set them to the 12 hour timing. My computer is set to the 24 hour timing and I hate it. OOps never mind I see my husband changed that for me.

Mine is a analog watch so it only capable of 12 hours. If I have the options on clock and others, I will choose 24 hrs timing. So there will be no mistake in the time telling.

I prefer using 12 hour timing - I use it on my laptop and mobile phone, it's just so much easier than really thinking what the time is from 24 to 12. I mean it's bad enough when you wake up and you look at the time, and you think it's 6.30 when it's really 5.30 - so then trying to work out what time it is in 24 hours...just wouldn't happen for me.

I always set my watch and clock to 24 hours mode as I want to make sure I just wouldn't get it wrong no matter how blur am I:)

We set ours to 24 hour time, but that might be because we are ex-military and always talked in 24 hour timing rather than a.m. or p.m. In fact if we are looking for a new clock, then we will try to get one with the 24 hour time rather than anything else. I guess it is all about personal preference and what we have been bought up with that determines which one we choose. :)

I prefer using my clock with 12h timing even though I don't mind having it in 24h as it's my alarm so both of them are good for me as long as I can still know what time is it when I want to.

I've always liked the idea of using 24hr time, it just seems more international, but the truth is I use 13hr because the 24hr always had be calculating what the 12hr equivalent of the 24hr time was. I just couldn't remember the 24hr numbers consistently...

i always operate in a twelve hour clock, it feels odd and strangly militaristic when i hear people using the 24 hour clock
