I use eBay mostly and have not used yahoo since they closed sold.com down in Australia. It all depends on what I am looking for as to where I go, but have got some really good bargains from eBay and am more than happy with most things I got. As an earlier respondent said paying through Paypal is good as at least the money is safe if something does go wrong. I will only bid on items from reputable sellers with a very high rating, and that I believe gives me added protection against being scammed. :)

I've done both. Yahoo has a smaller selection, but there are less people on there to run prices higher. Ebay has more selection, and I think their feedback system works better. I've always had good luck with ebay. Yahoo auctions just never got any bigger.

I didn't know that yahoo does auctions as well. I always go with ebay.
