I hope that everyone enjoyed the gifts that they received and that you made other people and kids happy with the gifts that you got them. Waht did everyone receive? Did anybody go to the store today to return anything? I did not have to return anything as I received several gift cards, snacks, a Donovan McNabb calendar, a eagles globe clock, a nice shirt, a new bedsheet set with comforter and a beautiful framed scenery picture with a rainbow.

Hi! That's the great thing about receiving chocolate as a gift! It always tastes great and you never have to return it because it's the wrong size or color! haha :-)

I did not receive many presents for Christmas. My husband gave me some cookie sheets(do you think he was hinting at something?) and my daughters each gave me a pair of socks. Our parents both gave gift cards to Walmart so I will have no problem using those! I hate returning items! I would almost rather keep an unwanted item than go to the trouble of returning it. There is always a huge line of people waiting to return things and I hate waiting in line. The one item I would have returned was a name-draw gift and I have no idea where it was purchased. I guess it will look fabulous in the attic.

My husband recently came back from Turkey, and he gave me a Turkish Gold bracelet and earrings set. They are beautiful. I also collect oil lamps so my children gave me a beautiful oil lamp.

I receive very few gifts these days, and the ones that I do are usually small items from friends or neighbours.
My brother suggested many years ago that we stopped buying each other presents at Christmas or on birthdays because we would be sure to buy each other items that we would have paid that much for to buy them for ourselves.
One of my neighbours, a girl whom I have only spoken to a couple of times because we work very different hours, knocked on my door on Christmas Day with a card and a gift wrapped bottle of Schloer grape juice. This may not seem much, but it was such a thoughtful and neighbourly thing to do that it really cheered up my day. It is true what people say, the thought really does count.

I loved the statement that you made about "The thought is what really counts." I could not agree more. No matter whether we like the gift or not, we should appreciate the thought that people had to give us something. They wanted to do something nice for us and that is what should matter most.

I got a Backstreet Boys Cd and season five of my favoite show Frasier on Dvd. They were what I wanted because it was on my wishlist. All our family have a wishlist on Amazon.com and that way everyone gets what they want all the time.

I didn't have to return anything, but we had to return a shirt & sweats for Jason because they were the wrong size.
Otherwise I got some goodies. Books, candles, perfume (which I ask for and got), and GC too! Mostly GC to Target, which I was super pleased with. Pj's, oh yes I got pj's, again I ask for this each and every year and get one or two if any at all and this year I got several different pairs. I was super excited. lol
It was a pretty okay Christmas on this end.
It sounds like you got some nice goodies too. especially the bedsheet with comforter. I have a thing for sheets. lol

i really enjoyed the gifts..i think that is less important what you receive and very important is that you receive..because it doesn't matter how expensive was that gift..matters that someone has thought about you and really wanted to share with you this christmas by giving you a present to remind about him or her..gifts are precious..

I received the most wonderful gift ever! My only daughter has discovered she is pregnant. I'm going to be a grandmother! YEAH! I was so happy and surprised that I started to cry. She will make a great mother. All the other gifts I received paled in comparison although I will enjoy all the clothes and DVD player. I am very thankful for everything this Christmas had to offer me and my family.

I only received $$ money!
Therefore my familiar they prefer that I will choose the gift that I want. I also prefer thus, therefore I prevent the exchange-exchange of the store and the disgusts of that they had given to me with much love.

I got some a goody bag of Avon from one friend and cookies and chocolates from another. Money from my Mom and Dad and my inlaws. The most special gift came from my one year old granddaughter and her Mother. It was matching tshirts for myself and my husband calling us the coolest grandparents. I just adore her so much.
