Here is a place for anyone and everyone to express there views on Indo-Pak Relations. The wars, policies and wat should happen in da future. Let me remind all u folks dat both India & Pakistan are Nuclear Powers & if (GOD FORBID) such a war happens it would effect the whole world`s climate. Also both countries have lot of poverty and illiteracy which needs 2 b dealt with.
So I call upon the youth of both da nations to expess not only there views but also give their suggestions.

Yes you are right. The photo you are using is in the movie predator. It was a Arnold's movie. Terminator depicts the destruction of world with nuclear weapons which are created by human beings.

The only issue between India and Pakistan is the Kashmir issue. I think the Kashmir issue shouldnot be resolved, as both sides are admant about acquiring whole of Kashmir, also it is the most talked and politicised issue. Both country Politicians dont want the differences be sorted out.
Though we know that both countries are nuclear powers, but none would be the first to use their powers against each other. Leave the Kashmir issue and both countries dont have any issue to fight against. The only thing is to stop the merciless killings of innocent people of Kashmir.
If we work together we can spread a feeing of War free environment. We have many sectors, fields to explore and develop us.
Lets work together and build a better living place for all.

Indian people and Pakistani people share a common ethos, I think we should both forget our small squabbling and work towards a happy and prosperous sub-continent.
To build cordial relations, Pakistan should detest from training militants on it's soil and Indian soldiers in Kashmir should show more restraint. Both ISI and RAW should clear their snoots.
Cultural ties should be forged between the two countries. Pakistani musicians and artists are encouraged in India. Pakistan should reciprocate in kind. Building bridges between people of both the nations is the best way to bring political consensus.
Lets hope for a very prosperous sub-continent where India and Pakistan have very good ties with each other. Let these nations not perpetuate a nuclear holocaust.

Please remember both were a single country almost 50 years ago. Just because you have new names, you do not have to fight. It is not people that fight, it is politicians. So select your leaders right. Think of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the best people ever lived!

Well in my point of view Pakistan and India both are the country that should set an example for the whole world that peace should be take with dialogue not with war. As now a days many countries have tested nuclear bombs and although they not want to have some dialogue to cool the warm situation of the world. If Pakistan and India can solve the problem between themselves then i think that it is a great example that should be set for the whole world that although they are the nuclear powers but they solve thei issues with dialogue not with war.

Don't blame Pakistan without knowing the truth. You must know not only Pakistan but North Korea also developed nukes. But the driving force behind them is the military. Not the democracy. Even in India nuke weapon development is undergone without the knowledge of Indians. Only Prime Minister and BARC people knew it. But here the scenario is different. Military has no participation in it until Kargil war.
It was said that India has used nukes in Kargil war. But that is ethical unlike Americans dropping bomb on civilians.
Also there is no democracy in Pak. Military General Parvez had hanged the democratic former Prime Minister.
So Pak people are like Indians. Only the military in that country might be creating problems.

Propaganda War..get your facts straight here, and no UN or Russia was involved in anything of this:
Phases of the War in Bangladesh
The war is considered to have 4 phases:
Phase 1: March 25 to June
Operation Searchlight was launched by Pakistani forces on the 25th of March. There was Spontaneous and disorganized resistance from the Bengali soldiers and volunteers. Surprise and superior firepower helped the Pakistani forces overwhelm the disorganized Bengali resistance in conventional warfare by June. Pakistan airlifted 2 infantry divisions and reorganized their forces. Bangladesh Government in Exile was formed in April 17 at Mujib Nagar, the country was divided into 4 sectors to conducted the war.
Phase 2: June-September
Bangladsh forces command setup in July, with MAG Osmani as commander in chief. Bangladesh was devided into 11 sectors with 11 sector commanders to conduct Guerrilla operations. 3 brigades were raised for conventional warfare, a large guerrilla force was trained. Guerrilla operations, which slacked during the training phase, picked up. targets in Dhaka was attacked. The major success story was Operation Jackpot, in which naval commandos mined and blew up berthed ships in Chittagong on August 16, 1971. Pakistani repraisals claimed lives of thousands on civilians. Indian army took over supplying the Mukti Bahini from the BSF. They organised 6 sector for supplying the Bangladesh forces.
Phase 3: October - December
Bangaldesh conventional forces attacked border outposts. Kamalpur, Belonia and Battle of Boyra are a few examples. Guerrilla attacks intensified, as did Pakistani and Razakar repraisals on civilian populations. Pakistani forces were reinforced by 8 battalions from West Pakistan. The rebels even managed to temporarily capture airstrips at Lalmonirhat and Shalutikar. Both of these were used for flying in supplies and arms from India.
Phase 4: December3 -December 16
Pakistani armies were gradually being disorganised due to the sudden and quick guerrilla attack by the bengali freedom fighters in most of the areas.the former east pakistan, being covered by condensation of trees crisscrossed by lots of streamlines and rivers, was quite uncomfortable for the Pakistani armies to defend the local Mukti Bahini Freedom Fighters.pakistani armies were in a dreadful condition and gradually were losing the will to fight because most of their major fortresses had fallen viciously by the allied Bengali-indian forces. It was a matter of shame for the Pakistani High Command that a well-trained army was losing the war to the common Bengali civilians merely trained and having outdated weapons. To conceal this shameful matter they launched air-attack about Indian border on 3rd of December so that the real facts remain unknown to the common people and people would say that Pakistani army didnot lose to Bengali Freedom Fighters but to more powerful Indian armies. This led India to announce war against Pakistan officially and they started attacking near Pakistan-India borders from the 6th of December. All out war between Bangladesh-India and Pakistan began , the agility and couragious war-strategy of the Mukti Bahini, aided by Indian forces, overwhelm the Pakistanies and within 10 days after
India has joined the war, the Pakistan army was compelled to an unconditional surrender on the 16th December,1971. Pakistani
forces surrender on the 16th of December with 93490 soldiers.
The surrender in East Pakistan was a tragic blow to the
Pakistanis. By the act of meek surrender Pakistan stood dismembered, and the image of the Pakistan Army as an efficient and excellent fighting force stood shattered.

i think india should learn from history and should never trust pakistan and ofcourse it will be bad for both countries if any war happens and i don't think pakistan wanted gud relations with india ever....india is the only country which defends itself and again defends and again defends..but never attacks..

whoaaaa!!! there sister watch it its india who cant be trusted india has got conflicts with all its neighbors and besides india is the 1 who snatched away muslim states like kashmir n Junagarh and the independent state of hyderabad in 1948 one year after the partition & india is holding back kashmir and is not holding a plebicite according to UN resolutions, India is the trouble maker and Pakistan just wants to survive against a country which so badly wants to swallow it back , ok let pakistan aside what abt China? what abt Andera pradesh & Aksai Chin? Aksai chin doesnt belong to india but still it claims it, what abt baghliar dam which is in clear violation of the indus water treaty? and almost all the China india border is disputed coz of india's dreams of expansionism, what abt babari mosque & Gujrat issues? ask amnesity international abt it and who is becoming fast sriends & strategic allies with Israel?
get ur facts right!

i have gone through such sick replies by some of the users...for u ppl plz get knowledge and realize the reality before you comment on some issue...i read a post of lady saying that its india who defeneded each time...come on lady i think u are missing something . go through the past and chk out who attacked in 1948,then who started the war in 1965 ,then in 1971 and then in 1999.!none of the war was ever started by Pakistan. it was pakistan who was defending its rights everytime...someone was saying that pakistan should stop the demand of kashmir ..comeon guys our president just said that "WE never claim kashmir..its the ppl of kashmir who will dicide their feature."Now if the nation of kashmir is wishing to join pakistan then how can we break their hearts...and u also know that 80% of kashmiri population is Muslim and all of them wish to join pakistan..then how can india claim on Kashmir...in 1948 united nations demanded referendum in kashmir..and india started playing hide n seek ..why dont u carry out a referendum over there indians?do u have any relevant answer to this question...!
i hope that everyone realizes that whts the reality behind all that issue and i pray to God !

strong heart it is ur miss understanding that Kashmiris wanna join Pak. They r happy with India but da thing is that so many innocent die there that they fed up and wanna be left alone. As a matter of fact Hurriyat the only J&K based party of State has its TOP MOST AGENDA AS "AZAD-e-GULISTAN" which is making J&K a free country and restoring its position as "HEAVEN ON EARTH"

well the only suggetion is that pak should stop asking for kasmir. or another impossible thing that can resolve the problem is that pak and india can beceome single nation again. In fact it would help a lot. wat to do, no1 will accept that .

whoa in ur dreams & abt that above india on defense thing hey it was Pak's civil war in 1971 when india couldnt resist and jump into it to even the 1965 defeat and it was india who tested the nuclear devices first in 74 and then in 98 pak only replied for that offense got any answer for this?
and i bet india will be the 1st 1 to test hydrogen bomb first n then start threatening pakiistanis with their speeches until Pak too tests them into india's face n then we go again into an arms race
these hostility my friends will remain till the end or till one of them exists no more

Peace is what everyone wants. I am correct? But if someone attacks India, then we cannot sit quiet. I think that it is simply politics that is fueling all these problems. I dont think that there is such enimity between the normal people of both the countries. But i strongly oppose terrorism and any injuries to common people in both the countries.

It is the politics that renedered into what we see as indian and a pakistan. In reality they are peole who merged ans lived in a single country. If we wre united, then might be a super poewr, since we dont have to spent on war, and this much n defence, and there might be no TERRORIST against india, since KAshmir is not an issue

I strongly feel that india is trying its best in the peace process taking place between both the countries we are not interested in war but pakistan needs to stop their cross border terrorism only then it is possible to bring a complete peace and harmony between both the nations.

I dun like war..as everybody know that pakistan encourages terrorism in the name of religion which is like putting a black spot on datreligion. No religion wants its followers to fight or spoil the peace by any means. Pakistan should stop sponsoring these terror clans..there is an old saying that " War never decides whoz rite it just showz whoz left"
