I absolutely love my country and would definitely prefer being born here again than anywhere else. The only thing that I do not like about my country is that George Bush is running it and our government has fallen apart and making really bad decisions. I love having my freedom and being able to do the things I like and want to do.

I believe you can. The dictionary definition of patriot is somebody who proudly supports or defends his or her country and its way of life. This is a definition that is open to interpretation. I interpret literally. I proudly support my country and my husband proudly defends his country. I don't support Bush. I don't support the war. I still find myself supporting the US and troops. I think this country is a great place to live. I think the idea (democracy) is right and works for THIS country. Do I think we can apply our way of life to a country that has lived under dictatorship for thousands of years? No. I still consider myself a patriot though. I think if you support the country and it's ideals, you are a patriot.
