My favorite movie is "An Officer and A Gentleman."
It's an older Richard Gere movie, but hasn't lost it's spark. I've seen it several times and each time I've enjoyed it as much as the first time.

If you get the time to rent it, it's a drama about a man who is in the Naval Academy. He "want(s) to fly jets." He and one of his buddies meet a couple of 'ladies of the night.' The story follows the four of them until graduation day.

That's weird, I do the same thing. It used to be Seinfeld, but now I find Frasier great to fall asleep to. (He's on for an hour at midnight), which is just enough time to fall asleep with the timer. Works out perfect. I fall asleep almost the minute he comes on though, so I never really get to watch it. I just love his voice, puts me right to sleep!

I love movies about strong, yet vulnerable women... Under a Tuscan Sun, Chocolat, Out of Africa, Enchanted April. They aren't exactly chic flicks, but some guys would think so. These women all had to find their own ways, without men -- a rather untypical hollywood theme, I believe.
