How many angels were involved with the Christmas Story?

This is a discussion aimed primarly at Christians. It is not a discussion of whethere angels exist or not. We are starting from the premise that they do exist as stated in the Bible.
I'll give you a hint to start out. The first angel comes *before* Mary.
