mapiklfish1 Well, I do expect friends to remember my name but casual acquaintances, it doesn't bother me. I forget names all the time so I guesss I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to others not remembering mine.

mapiklfish1 I agree with you there. All things in moderation. A stead diet of burgers would probably not be a good thing but then a stead diet of only subs is probably not good either. We need to add in the fruits and veggies as well.

mapiklfish1 I don't think the sauces and condiments are necessarilly unhealthy but they do contain calories. I just read, for instance, that for heartburn, you should take a teaspoon to a tablespoon of mustard.

mapiklfish1 I have not seen Quizno's on list but then I didn't really look for it but, yes, it probably would have more calories. Guess then the only reason to go to the sandwiches vs. the burgers is just because you like sandwiches more than burgers.

mapiklfish1 I agree. The burger joints are coming out with healthier alternatives to the burgers too. Most of them have salads now and you can get your chicken grilled instead of fried. Just depends on what you get.

mapiklfish1 Drowning them is not humane. Even so, she lied about what she was doing with them. I'm sure people wouldn't have taken animals to her if htey had known. I think it's awful.

mapiklfish1 I would have to agree. My daughter had just turkey, bread and a little shredded cheddar cheese so her's was probably pretty low in calories. If I'm going to consume over 800 calories, though, I'd just as soon have the burger and fries. Even with the chicken...

mapiklfish1 Yes, the meatball one is something like 1700 calories but not sure if that is 6" or 12". I had a 6". I'm also not sure how much more healthy Subway really is unless you just get a veggies sandwich but then you could just get a salad at McDonald's with no meat....

mapiklfish1 It did actually have quite a bit of meat. The website does have the calories broken down into calories from fat as well but I didn't check that.

mapiklfish1 Right. They make it sound like all their sandwiches are better than burgers and that isn't true. If I have to eat a sandwich without mayo or anything else on it, (dry bread) I'll pass. I'd rather have a salad or soup.
