Valencia is a gorgeous city. Whoever planend it out made sure it wasn't turned into an urban jungle. There are loads of parks in the centre and so you'd never guess you where in the city. Definitely a place to go!

Ibiza, Mallorca, and Palma are all great to visit.
Also, anywhere along the coast is nice.... beautiful beaches! While you're there, visit Portugal, too. Great place and a lot to see!

I don't mean to sound rude but if you only visit the beaches you're missing about 90% of what makes Spain great, you can go to beaches anywhere, but for example there is only one Alhambra

Well Madrid is a concrete jungle rather than a beautiful city, however it does have great museums and nightlife, but Barcelona also has great nightlife and it is a far prettier and cleaner city

I have been to Pamplona, Spain. Very nice there although there is NO i mean NO ENGLISH hahaha. Was very hard to communicate for myself.I did however find a great foreigners school to teach me some spanish for only 4euros ($6CDN) for 3months of schooling.
I am used to so many other european countries which speak english, even if its not their offical language.
Madrid airport was difficult for english speakers compared to other non-english european places. I never did travel much around Madrid, but i hear its nice.

My picture is from Spain. We did a impulse trip on Ryanair. When we flew into Gerona we stopped at the tourism counter. The people there were very helpful. She asked us what we were interested in exploring. We went for the beaches and countryside, so she gave us a map and some information that we found very useful. We rented a car and explored the entire Costa Brava region. I have to say that I am in love! It was beautiful.
They had different maps and books on points of interest, depending on what you wanted to see. The service there was free, and some of the best service we have had on our travels to date!

You can visit Barcellona, the city is very interesting for her architecture and for her people. I went to the Canarie islands, very nice also in the winter

well i am spanish so i can tell you that the north coast has great beaches, forests and great food.
Mediterranean coast has a lot of beaches too, many tourism resorts, great weather.
Madrid rocks, it's huge and has many things to see, parks, museums etc. Barcelona is also nice, as well as Seville, for instance.

If you go to Barcelona make sure you go down La Ramblas, if you like human street statues then you'll enjoy down there, there are also lot's of stalls.
If you drive into Barcelona it's probably better to park somewhere on the outskirts of the city (near the Barcelona Stadium) as you'll be driving around a while to find a space, also it gets VERY busy.
