Is there a noise ordinance in your town? Are the cops allowed to file a noise violation against you if your being too loud even without a neighbor complaint? The town I go to college in recently passed one several years ago giving the police this ability because they found that when there were areas of houses that were rented out by groups of college students then they would not file complaints against each other and the cops could not break up parties because of the noise, which means that unless they saw alcohol or someone passed out they had no probable cause.

I dont know about sc but in michigan anything that can be heard over 50 feet from the car can get you a ticket which is a crock of sht because they only mess with people with sounds. I,ve never heard of anyone out hear getting a ticket for a motorcycle sport or harley and my friend drove around for almost 3 months with no exaust pipe what so ever sound straight from the engine with a stick and only got pulled over once and he didnt get a ticket when he did. but a cop told me to turn down the radio in my girls moms mazda 6 with the premium sound package cause I had it turned up its even loud it just plays the lows as well as it does the highs and he says it too loud
