Ive heard that if parrots eat parsley they die, is it true?

I think it is true. I had read that matter in some books. Where you found that matter can you tell me.

my friends and I were talking about the affects of alka seltzer on seagulls when one of them said parsley killed parrots, dunno where he got the info or if he was bs'ing us so thus I brought the matter up here.
