Are you a sunrise or a sunset person?

Sunset - Beautiful sunset among clouds over the ocean.

I would like to be a sunrise person but I think I am more of a sunset person! I am generally positive but I am not the "leaping out of bed to seize the day!" type.... What about you?

I used to be like that earlier...just couldn't leap out of bed first thing in the morning. But when I started doing it one fine day...it made me more energetic!! Now, I'm up at 5 most mornings and up and about my chores. I get more stuff done with no one to disturb me and I get the rest of the day to concentrate on my hobbies and myself. Whereas earlier, I would get tired easily, now I feel I have more energy all throughout the day. Being a sunrise person sure helped me with my energy levels!

You certainly have some discipline! It is taking that first step.... and you did! And have benefitted from that. I hope to also have the same discipline one day!

I am up around 7'ish and it is currently almost 1pm here so my day started some time ago! At least you got to wake up to a BR though! lol. Yes I am sure that in time things will eventually start to return to some form of normality.....

when im very passionate with some project or some things in my life, i am a sunrise person, eager to seize the day, full with energy. But when i am down, when im depressed and need some time to recover my self, to regain my strength, then i'll become a sunset person, take a lot of time just with myself alone, thinking about many things, or just doing anything that could ease my pain ...

Me too im more of a sunset person especially when Im with my fiance. Its very romantic. I hate getting up in the morning and since the sun rises pretty early its out of the question for me to see it rise on almost all days. Expect of course on the days i've not gone to sleep in the night at all. Like when I work a night shift. But I love the sunsets and the ones at my place are awesome and my place has a terrific view

I think that I am more of a sunrise person because I tend to be an early riser. Or I used to, anyway.. the older I get, the harder it is to get up early! *laugh* But both sunrise and sunset are very beautiful times of the day. I wish that I had actually witnessed more of both times of day at this point in my 31 years of life! At least you've got me thinking that I should get out there and enjoy nature more! ^_~

I am both but backwards. I love to watch the sunset (I have uploaded some pictures from Hawaii and other exotic places I have been to) and then work all night and then watch the sunrise before I head off to bed.

The only time I see the sunrise lately is when I've been up all night.

So based on this and your going to bed at 6:30 AM the other day then you got to see one just recently! lol. I don't even remember the last time I saw a sunrise! I wish I had more discipline to be able to sleep early and rise early so I could see more of them but I honestly just don't..... Thanks for responding.

I am sick and tired of always having to force myself to do what I'm 'supposed' to be doing... like going to bed early and getting up early, blah, blah, blah... I want to spend every day and night for the rest of eternity doing exactly what I want whenever I want to do it!

I enjoy both actually a beautiful sinrise can signify the dawning of a glorious, bright and shiny new day! Where a sunset can so breathtakingly stunning and a sunset signify that another day has gone and past and may we hope and pray to see many more of both to come!!!

I really can't say which one I like more, because they are both beautiful...and everytime I see either, it makes me feel real good. More often, I see the sunset, but it is great when I can catch a sunrise too, every once in a while. There are so many places that I have seen the sun rise and set, and they are very enlightening. There are purples, oranges, reds, magentas...the colors are outstanding and unforgettable.

I'm definitely not a morning person, I love my bed too much. But the times I have seen sunrises - it just blows me away. I lived in the desert for awhile and the sunsets were magic. But when I experienced the sunrises it was even more magic, like witnessing a birth or something like that.

Thanks for the comment. If more people would learn to love life and accept whatever it is that happens to them and make the most out of it, the world will really be more beautiful than it is.

Hi, James, I'm a sunset person, as we say in Russian - an owl, night bird. Generally I hate early wake ups and prefer to get up when my body got enough rest. Otherwise I feel a bit discomfortable. But in contrast with that, sometimes I find early mornings when everything is sleeping really beautiful! Especially in summer when a day is going to be sunny that's really great. However, I rarely can force myself to wake up to catch these moments.

We refer to people that are evening people as "night owls" ourselves so very similar! I have to admit that as they say, the very early part of the morning IS the best part of the day but I too am not discplined enough to be around to enjoy it very often! Thanks for responding and keep burning that midnight oil! lol.

I suppose the sun has to rise, but why can't it get up at a more reasonable time of the day, like 10am....
