What Do You Eat on New Years Day

Is there a custom in your area about what you eat on New Years Day? Where I live you are supposed to eat hogs jowl and black-eye peas so that you will have money all year. Tell me about yours.

hi,generally i don't eat in new year celebrations...drinks will start at 8 pm and continue upto 12.30 am...thats all...
