I know mylot made the change where you no longer get credit for 1 and 2 words but do people actually think they get more for 400 word responses. I am not talking about people that actually just like making long post like that. I am speaking on ones who drag out a response to the point of where it is completely off topic.

LMAO
SO what you are really trying to say iis that people here at mylot are continuously typing long winded responses that seem to go off on their own little tangent at some point in their post so as to increase its length in an attempt to genertae more money. What I dont understand is why people dont go work for one hour per week and make double what they would in a week here at mylot...
LMAO, I'm only kidding.
Nah I knwo what you mena, it really bothers me too. Soemtimes I get long responses and they are totally related which is cool. Soemtimes a subject requires a longer answer, but sometimes its just a big right royal pain in the donkey.

Here's my question. How long is long? I ususally type a response about like the above reponse. I might ramble too. Who knows. I'm liable to lose attention to anyone who have paragraphs in their responses though. Really, how many sentences do you suppose is in a good response?

People like that is by nature loves doing it. We can not stop them it is their way of expressing themselves. They probably are born writer. We simply stop reading up to the point we start loosing interest on it.

I know that I often post long responses, but I'm a long-winded writer from way back. If I have something to say, then I usually have a lot to say. I know I could earn more on mylot by posting a lot of shorter posts, but I really prefer to only really discuss things I'm interested in than just answering everything. The earnings are negligible to me, and I don't care if I make money or not.

I'm with you on this! If the answer goes on and on and on, I get bored and skip on to the next one. There is a limit to what I want to read about each discussion. Now, if it is interesting...no problem.

I know what you are talking about its like reading a novel.. LOL.. And sometimes they have nothing to do with what the discussion is about.. or its repeated like 3 times over and over.. i have seen that one before.. over and over, just reworded.

If you see responces that start off on topic and end up way off base, then you need to rate them accordingly. People have been told that a long responce is a good responce. So a longer rambling on one must be better right?? I know it's not, but not everyone thinks that way.

I have had some of those. Some of them were copy and pasted from other websites. Just give me the link. I will go look at the info myself.

I have seen those kinds of response, LOL. I think when you have a topic that needs your answer explain it is ok to be a bit wordy, but not so much so that you go off topic. short and sweet and to the point always works best. that is what mylot is looking for. not your life story. I so agree with ya
