Targetting Civilians
The Vietnam War was supposed to be the first time that the Anglo-Amerikans managed to get the ratio of murderers up. In previous wars, only a small proportion of thugs did all the killing.
Another statistic is the ratio of civilians. 95% of those murdered in Vietnam were civilians as the US tried to force the South Vietnamese known as the Viet Cong to stop supporting the North. Over 80% supported the North rather than the US puppet in the South.
The war was "unwinnable" from the start. JFK wanted to pull out of it but he was assassinated by those who wanted to fleece the supine and spineless Amerikan tax payer. The war lasted over a decade and 300 tonnes of bombs were dropped per capita; more than the total dropped during WW2.
As well as the dropping of bombs over Dresden, Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the US also starved 1.5m to death in Iraq saying it was "worth it" that 0.5m were kids.
Now the Great Satan is continuing its daily war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, occupying over 160 sovereign states and threatening Iran, Venezuela and N. Korea whilst also interfering in elections in east European states, violating all trade rules as well as international law and even their own domestic laws. Is it any wonder they fund the only two global propaganda channels, the BBC and CNN?
The Zionists follow suit. The vast majority of those killed in Lebanon were civilians. The ratio of civilians killed by Hezbollah, in contrast was a mirror image. Yet the UK's Guardian featured an article by UK MP, Boris Johnson implying that Hezbollah was targetting civilians and there was a claim by so-called human rights organisations in the US about the same.

The US did not starve anyone in Iraq. The US don't occupy 160 states (they may have that many bases), they do not interfere in elections in the East European states, we don't violate trade laws, and the civilians in Lebanon a few months ago were killed because they were being used as human shields by terrorists...
You don't really know what you're talking about do you? You just really hate America and lie and distort to make your point? Well you might be able to get away with this on the internet, but know that it isn't true and your point isn't going to change anything you think is happening.

i totally agree with you my friend, some people are so shallow.
We americans just lost over 3000 american troops. They have been fighting a difficult war with barely any international help. we have given our blood and money to fight this stupid jihad and the rest of the civilized world thinks it is a joke.

The United States army has one big flaw. In wars involving our army versus another countries army, we are unstoppable. However, when our soldiers are fighting smaller battles involving an enemy that hides behind innocent people, we struggle. Both because it's hard to win and because idiots actually believe that, when innocent people get harmed, we're doing it on purpose.
I would love to see critics try to correctly identify an assailant in a crowd when they have someone shooting at them.

funny that people like you can sit back and criticize the US while secretly thanking god that we are there protecting your sorry butt.
You are glad that your country doesnt have to do the dirty work so you can take the phony moral high ground.
I bet you cant wait for Israel to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. So you can blame Israel, all the while sweating that you didnt have to lift a finger to protect your own candyass.
The US are terrorists? yeah right, go back to your little cafe and write in your silly journal or something.

War is hell, and unfortunately urban warfare is real. Its hard to know your enemy when they all dress alike. I feel the Allied troops of the greatest nation in the world (US) show considerable restraint in light of the fact that anyone can be a wonna be martyr for the great jihad

My brother served in the Vietnam. He was deeply affected by the children there. The NV strapped bombs on those little ones and sent them into the war. It was not safe to help even the smallest innocent person. He took care of the equipment and rebuilt roads. His troop was not allowed to fight back and many times could only take cover at the hands of the NV. Everyone runs down the US, hates the US. I simply don't understand how many who say they hate us ask for our help, want to live in our country to enjoy our freedoms. Someone started a topic on how horrible the USA was, many showed their hatred in that topic. Later someone started a topic on where would you want to live if you could live anywhere in the world. Most of those who had posted in the previous hate topic posted there too saying they wanted to live in the USA. It just doesn't make sense to me.

andygogo,
I see at your profile page that you are from China and quite young. Apparently, it is true that your government does not allow all view points to be viewed by you and your countrymen.
The opinions you express are quite extreme and not held by anyone who could have a chance to read both sides of a story.
Until your country, China, allows citizens such as yourself to engage in free discussion with persons like myself who disagree with you and China, you will never be free and China will never aspire to be a super power.
For any country to be great, it must allow dissent. This is so bad ideas can be rejected. So, the good ideas can be made better. Obviously, China does not allow this.
Why else have you not responded to anyone here who disagrees with you?

His is the main drawback or can be considered the most dark side of a war..apart from loss to property and economy. The history has been the answer that when ever any war has broke out the most sufferred victims are the general masses and the citizens. They loss their life and lose their life earned property in just a couple of seconds.
So every body in this world should work against the war and never support any form of war from being bursted..

I don't agree with wars. George Bush seems to me to be an evil man. I think that the US has often acted too aggresively. However it is wrong to generalize as you seem to be doing. You seem to be a racist and a bigot, not to mention quite ignorant...the very type to start a war. Don't you know that the greatest number of people killed by any one regime was China's Mao? The communist dictatorship killed many millions of people as you would know if you knew any factual history.
At the time many people who were against America, supported communist countries such as Maoist China and Stalinist Russia! This is who supported the Vietnamese. As has already been mentioned, Cambodia was an offshoot of the larger communist states. While I don't support violence I support freedom - and this to me means being firmly against regimes which adhere to one religion, ie most muslim states, or one ideology, ie communist countries.
It is sooo true - all the so called US hating people are the very ones who on one level embrace western values and want to enter the US. These people want it both ways, they usually want to only integrate on the level that suits them.
Do you even know what Zionism means? I doubt it.

The Chinese communists did not need a war to kill civilians during the 1960's.... they were busy killing their own people during the "Cultural Revolution" the same time as the vietnam war. The children were killing their own parents in some cases. just ask some of your commie relatives to admit that.
also China was supplyiung the North Vietnamese. By the way i KNOW a lot of soth vietnamese that fled to the US. They north did not free the south.
the nort Vietnamese turned them intoi little communists slaves.
peace.
