I personally think that she sounds good Solo and with Frou Frou. Though I do like her solo music a little bit more because she shows her wild side with all the voice machines she uses to record her voice at different pitches and such then sing with it practicly making her own music, but without any instruments.

I like her better as an independent artist. I saw her in concert in Atlanta a couple of months ago and she was incredible. I really appreciated her performance not only for her music, but because she's not pretentious on stage. She's just herself, so I kind of felt like I was in her living room. I like her later stuff much better, though.

I must admit, i like them both equally but Frou Frou is definately more "radio friendly" as someone above has said. If i had the choice i would pick her latest solo album to listen to but thats probably because i've had it for the least amount of time.

I like her solo work more. With Frou Frou, she was able to do some very radio friendly material (Breathe In) and stellar work (Let Go). But I think she had more chance of exploring her musicality with her solo work especially in Speak For Yourself in stand out tracks like "Hide And Seek" and "The Walk".

i think she has been equally good as a solo artist and with Guy Sigworth (frou frou).
I only became aware of Imogen Heap after hearing Hide and Seek on the tv show The O.C. Speeding Cars which im sure was a solo track is one of my favourite songs. I think that she is very talented and her music is incredible both solo and with frou frou.
