I'm redoing this conversation. Because I think I need to re tag it. Not trying to scam anyone or anything like that. I just was hoping for some responses.
My cousin and I were at cub foods in minnesota. She was shopping. And bought 150 dollars worth of stuff. She forgot the razers in the botom of the cart. We went to put everything in the trunk. And we got it all in. And she noticed the razers at the bottom of the cart. Not paid for. She said o sh%%. And grabbed it out of the cart. Then all of a sudden a man came up to her and confronted her about shoplifting. She explained that she just forgot it there. And he didn't beleive her. And she was like. O come on you gotta be kidding. Then he hancuffed her and she was in this room for like an hour. and then she came out and said she had a court date and everything. And were worried because alot of of people do shoplift. So shes worried she'll have a theft record or something

That is really sad. It is unfortunate because it was an honest mistake that many of us have made at one time or another. Hopefully, with her receipt, and character witnesses, the charges will dropped and there won't be a record. The number of shoplifters has risen dramatically over the past decade and continues to rise. It is especially high over the holiday season. But, like I said a low dollar amount item such as razors, with the receipt of the amount of money she spent, and witnesses to her honesty in situations should help the judge see that it was an honest mistake. I will be praying for her. Have a good New Year.

yea. They said to her that people do that all the time and think if theres only one item stolen. They won't get caught.

Man, that doesn't sound good. I wish her all the best, and I will be praying for her. I once had to run back in the store to pay for the 5 lb sack of potatoes that I forgot to set up from the bottom of my cart. I wish that they could see it as the honest mistake it was. There are so many bad people in the world today that when we run across a "good" one sometimes it is hard to differenciate.

They called the cops and she is also banned from the store. And thats the major grocery store in the area.
