what do you think about Myspace??

For a long time, I wrote off MySpace as one of those places where "the kids" went to hang out and in some cases, get in trouble. My daugther talke me into checking it out and now I use it for business networking and making new friends. MySpace is what you make of it. Hang around the right crowds and you're be all right.

There is a way to make your profile private. that helps! Also changing your password frequently is a good idea that way your account can't get phished. It really depends on what you do with your profile. Many girls, like my young teen cousins put up revealing pics of themsleves not realizing that dirty old men can stare at them and so on. Privacy is important so if you add only people you know and your profile is private then only the people you know can look at it!

I love myspace! I've had one for about a year now and I've reconnected with some old classmates. It's so cool to be able to catch up with people I haven't seen since I graduated back in '96. I don't usually add people unless I know them.

I like MySpace. I use it to keep touch with family, friends, and high school classmates. It is a great networking tool. It use to be for kids but has grown to everyone now.

I agree with you about myspace being whatever the user uses it for. I've learned alot from myspace. I love to make layouts there and spend hours looking for backgrounds and other stuff. But I also think it's a predators dream because of all the nieve teens on there. Parents should monitor their kids myspace including their private messages until they have earned their privacy rights there. If you see they've done something you don't agree with, explain why you think it's wrong. Most teens don't realise that they give out too much info. My kids have made some very good friends through myspace, and so have I.

I think that Myspace is a great place to meet new people. You can chat with differet people, role play, make your own profile, and even create groups. If you don't want people to know what you like or even your real name then you can use an online name and put in different pictures. I really like the groups because there are groups for all types and pretty much anything you could think of. If its not there, then you can make your own. I really like the role play groups where u play as your own person or as people from an anime, if you so like.

well myspace is good but it aint as big as Orkut down here in india.but i gez dats changin!

I like it. I use it to keep in touch with all my friends, and being in California, of course almost everyone has a myspace.
