Sir Alex Fergusson is DESERVEDLY the best football coach in the whole world at the moment. His record is unmatched. Even Jose Mourinho praises him. Though Arsene Wenger won't praise him publicly, he knows in his hearts of hearts that Sir Alex is an icon.
Sir Alex has built generations of players! Most of them were kids and he has seen them thru, like Sir David (Beckham), Ryan Giggs.
He has shaped and tamed riff-ruffs like Wayne Rooney into the best players on the world football pitch!
Sir Alex is the man!

Well, I can talk only about the italians, let my say three names:
Fabio Capello, he won the italian Championship many times with three different teams and he won in Spain too;
Marcello Lippi, the World Championship!
Luciano Spalletti, he didn't win anything till today, but I think I will....

I agree with you because it´s not easy to be on the top and coaching a big club so many years.Mourinho is a great coach too.

even though i am a fan of Fergie, i would think twice about the "best coach in Europe" tag on him.
He has not won enough Champions League for that claim but in England, he is right up there, among the very best.

no...my opinion is that the best coach in world football today is Arsene Wenger in his ten year's...So; Rijkaard is a second option candidate for the best coach because he come to Barcelana team with a lot of good plans for wining all what is posible.
