Parents who smoke with their Children in the car

NEVER !!!!!!! they are giving a bad example to the students alongwith spoiling their health...

second hand smoke can be lethal, so I dont think its ok for parents to smoke in the car or anywhere else near a child.

No, I definitely don't think this is acceptable. It may be true that our parents' generation smoked around us when we were kids, but people at that time didn't have all the information we have now about smoking. I think parents who smoke with their children in the car are negligent, and just plain bad parents.

no I dont think it is ok, but my hubby does when he is with us,the window is down but i know it is still bad.

I don't think it's okay to smoke around a child at all! Most of us have to 'tolerate it' when someone is 'stressed' enough to light up at a bus stop and that's bad enough! If my stress relief is beating up smokers at bus stops, despite how it's bad for their health, and my own! Can I get away with it?! :P

I agree with bhchy1. It's like the parent said to their children "Lets die early with daddy and mommy". They should make a rule where parents will be jailed if they smoke with their children in the car.

Heavens no! You may as well be haveing them smoking it themselves..If parents must smoke..do it outside away from your kids..Not ony does second hand smoke cause cancer, but it also createa a lot of respitory problems for young children...they will have a lifetime of breathing problems, allergies, ear infections etc..for being so close to teh smoke with no ventilation.
