Brainwave entrainment is a new technology that alters people's brainwaves using a sound or light stimulus that allows them to easily enter states of increased intelligence, relaxation, energy boost, deep concentration, etc, depending on the client's desired outcome.
In other words, mind control.
How do you feel about this? Your comments. What's going through your head as you are reading this?

I think if only for the purpose of relaxation, energy boost and deep concentration, I prefer to do some other things rather than have my brain electrically intruded. There might be some scientific bases as you claim but I'm not just ready for it. I'm afraid too that I will not get any relaxation sitting down there fearing for my brain.

Same here. I can't help thinking about brainwashing. If that much research has been done, how many human "lab rats" have they used. And if the stimulus they are using are sound and light, how many times did they try that on unsuspecting subjects? Hmmm...

I can't say that I've heard of it under this name but I do know that sound and light stimuli are used in the treatment of children with mental deficiencies. I also know that rooms can be painted in different colours to affect ones mood, for example, pale green colours are supposed to be relaxing, blues are cooling/calming colours and reds are warming/agressive. Many workplaces are painted green to help the workforce keep relaxed, imagine if they were painted red.

This is the first time i heard about it and it makes me think deeply. There are claims that it can improve mind activity but i found a site giving me more accurate info about this. It says:
he following are scientifically proven facts about brain wave entrainment:
FACT 1: There is a lot of electrical activity going on in your brain.
FACT 2: This activity can be measured by EEG (electroencephalography) technology. EEG has been around since 1930's.
FACT 3: The electrical activity changes depending on what a person is doing. For example, participating in a critical exam versus deep sleep have very different brain wave patterns associated with them.
FACT 4: If you can make your brain wave patterns change at will, you can create conditions that are better suited for certain types of activities (meditation, for example).
From this point on, everything else is basically up to the individual person using brain wave entrainment.

Hope it could help you too understanding this kind of new technology.

Wow,mind control and manipulation.Hope this will be used in a productive and hepful way like in treatment to someone with brain problems, depression etc. and not be abused by the one who master this.Im open to this idea but for the good of all person, hope this technology can help.

Just dont mess with your brains, If there is any scientific basis for this method and will be used to help patients, why not.
