well i condemn dat act ...coz i feel most of da cruel acts done by saddam as displayed by media were fake videos developed by da US govt , so that a feelin of hatred shd arise in da minds of people against iraq...
i mite b wrng bt i serached internet and seen numerous videos which led me to conclude dat most of the videos displayed on TV wr fake and duplicates wr used by da US govt so dat international support shd b gained..
wtever.. still he was a leader and his case shd have been forwarded to the INTERNATIONAL COURT .. as he was an interntional figure and by no rights only US govt should have da soul rights to discuss his fate...
a special court should have been made so dat representatives of different nations would have been able to put up dere views and den decisions about his fate should have been taken..
dats only my point of view.. cud b wrng.. wt do u think?

Ok, there are a lot of people on MyLot that are extremely confused about this.
1-The videos are real. They weren't made by the US, they were video taped by the Iraqis
2-Why would it be faked? They could just kill him later, your hypothesis makes ZERO sense.
3-The US didn't decide his fate, the Iraqi people themselves tried and convicted him, and they were the ones that hanged him.
4-There is an international court used to try international criminals and war crimes figures, unfortunately Saddam was not sent there by Iraq.

Yes I strongly support the capital punishment given to saddam Hussain..His judgement was the major lesson for our humanity as he lived completely against the law of nature. His assasinations of 1982 was just like one by Hitler..It today's free world there is no place for person like saddam..

no, i dnt support that.he can e a bad man but he is not that bad that he has to be hanged. look at his age and also if he can be hanged then why cant we hang bush. he is responsible for the lives of so many innocent people from iraq and afghan. he just wants profit from war and want control over the oil. nothing else. he is just concerned abt money. he is not so interested in world peace.

I strongly condemn the way saddam hussain was executed, instead of hanging him he can sent to life imprisonnment.I agree that he has killed thousands of people in his regime, but I think the governemnt should be given him chance to appeal for higher court beacuse he was above 70 years and there was a law that above 70 years people cannot be hanged.
Government knew that he may get life imprisonment, so govenment hanged him within 5 days.
In mw view hanging him was not a correct step taken by iraq people and the goverment.

Do you have any ideea why all of this happen... if i post this comment i express my opinion and only that... it's a constitutional right... ok now let's start... Saddam was killed.... why? because of the Democracy that America installed... America flods the markets of other countries makind them to go down as fast as you can say money.... really... if a country doesn't export it's economy goes down.... Now.... why does Iraq went down? first of all the economy.... as i said... And the next thing.... Who do you think has the biggest quantaties of petrol when entering a crisis??(Iraq) so... America atacks on a different puurpose.... takes control of a "EVIL" deplomacy and makes the people feel better... oh yeah.... the oil is thirs now.... by the way...Are you rich now that your in a democratic state? NO!!... only if your worklng at the headstate department.... In the Comunist time.... The state had a very LARGE INCOME per yer.... economics rose... salaries rose.... it was just a mmater of time.... but the human mind can't stand the waitng.... it wants it here and now... Everything is hoax built up by our truly and sinciere America... At least that's my opinion...
An Advice: Noone does anything because they want to.... they do it to satisfy their own intersts.... trust noone.... family makes an exception

I dont really support the fact that the execution is justified!! I think he has not got a fair trial, and Bush has just shown his supremacy over the countires, thinking that this decision will be praised by everyone, but this is not the case! I guess,it was totally a biased decision, and some how hanging him wasnt just really right!!
