Girlfriends

Lol. I was just going to ask the question. Good thing that I did a search first. I like Toni and Monica is just not going to fill the void. It's a good try, but not a perfect match.

Toni (Jill Marie Jones) left Girlfriends because when the show was moved from the old UPN to the new CW network, they were not getting raises. Rumor has it that all 4 ladies came to an agreement to stand together against CW and not take paycuts, but the other 3 forgot to tell Jill they changed their minds. Supposedly, when Jill asked Tracee Ellis why they didn't stand together, Tracee responded with "I need to keep my job." I don't know if it's true or not, but without Jill, the show isn't that good anymore and all of them will be out of work soon anyway. As for Jill, she just wrapped up production on her feature film debut in "Redrum" (coming in 2007).

She was being very "diva-like" and demanding a huge and unreasonable amount of money, so they wrote her out.

The show just isn't the same without Toni.I wish they will bring her back
