I got up real early this morning it was 5:19am and he had just been hung 19 minutes before. I watched it on CNN and it was not graphic at all. I watched for about half and hour and then I stopped as it got pretty boring.

Nope ~ won't go there. I cannot see why the media has to go there either. This is something that the world does not need to see. What is the point to show it? Does someone think it didn't happen and with the way that cameras can rig things to look different that they really are what would it be proving if you thought you needed proof?
I think a big problem with alot of things that go on is the media gets too involved. Look at the way these reporters are all over the wars...we don't need the photo details of some things....just the facts...

I jsut watched it, and it wasn't bad at all. They didn't show the whole thing. Just the noose around his neck. He was so calm.

MSN speaker says clearly that their policy doesn't allow them to show the entire execution. In fact the Iraqi television didn't sent the entire execution so there is not shown anything more than Saddam going to the place of execution and being prepared for that by some men in black.
What is very important is what is written in the article from MSN where is posted the video : at this address http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16389128/page/2/ it says very very clear (the last sentences):
"When the U.S. invaded in 2003, Iraqis had been transformed from among the region’s most prosperous people to some of its most impoverished."

I don't want to watch it. As much as I think he deserves it, I don't think that letting the entire world see it makes people feel very comfortable. How would you feel having kids, 5-15 years old, watching somebody being hanged?

I will not watch that video. I feel that justice according to the worlds standards has been had. He will now need to face the judgement of the Lord. To have a tape/video available for people to watch just adds to the hatred and violence of this world.

Thanks for posting the site and information. I don't know yet whether I will watch it or not. I kind of want to see for myself that he is really gone. Yet, on the other hand, that stuff gets to me too. I guess it depends on how truely graphic it is. Maybe I will have hubby watch it and tell me whether I should or not.

I just watched the video from ABC News (MSN.com). They do not show the actually hanging of Saddam, just where they put the rope around his neck. Thats where it stops! It not too graphic at all.
I watched it, because I could not believe it happened so soon, and that someone would actually video tape it. Apparently in Iraqi TV they have shown images of his body, but ABA news decided not to show it because of the graphic content.
